BNP resumes organizational activities after Covid-break
After a prolonged suspension caused by the coronavirus epidemic, the BNP resumed its organisational activities on Sunday. The party issued a press release urging its leaders and activists to organize activities throughout the country, while maintaining social distancing from the public and following health safety rules. In preparation for the next general elections, the BNP policymakers decided to meet with central leaders of the party. A senior BNP leader said that the Party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir would host three meetings with the Executive Committee leaders and other associate bodies, from Tuesday to Thursday. According to Syed Emran Saleh Prince, organizing secretary, the decision was made at Saturday's latest meeting of party's Standing Committee members.
